Supervision
Supervision is intended to enhance the quality of your work as a therapist or professional. Explore your practical experiences together with your supervisor and strengthen your skills, such as concretizing, reflecting, reflecting on your own intuitive core values/origins, and experimenting with different behaviors.
By learning sustainably from your own work experiences, you remain confident as a professional and can work in a healthy way.
Supervision can focus specifically on EIMT, but also on broader themes such as dealing with stress or questions surrounding professional identity.

Learning therapy
In learning therapy, you'll experience firsthand how EIMT works and what it can mean for you as a professional. During this program, you can discuss personal or professional issues, such as managing stressful situations, regulating emotions, or finding a balance between work and well-being.
The program consists of ten sessions of one hour each, but can also be divided differently in consultation, for example three longer sessions of ten hours in total.

EIMT Basic Training
In this two-day training you will be introduced to the foundations of EIMT. You will learn the basic principles of improvisational music therapy focused on emotion regulation and depressive symptoms.
There is attention to the music therapy synchronisation technique, verbal reflection, the structure of the program and working with the emotion regulation map. You will practice hands-on with the three core instruments (cello, marimba and djembe) and learn how to structure and conclude a session.
At the end of this training, you will have the basic skills to apply EIMT responsibly in your own practice.

EIMT In-depth training
This two-day training goes beyond simply learning techniques. You'll delve into the underlying models of emotion regulation (such as Scherer's Component Process Model and Greenberg's Emotion-Focused Therapy). You'll learn how to recognize emotion regulation patterns in musical performance and how to link these to depressive symptoms.
You'll work with your own case studies and practical examples, focusing on communicating about EIMT within multidisciplinary teams. This way, you'll learn to explain what EIMT is, how it works, and why it works.

EIMT Assessment
This two-day assessment training covers music therapy assessment in EIMT. You'll learn how to systematically observe and evaluate during EIMT sessions.
What does the music reveal about the client's emotional regulation? Which patterns point to imbalance, and where are opportunities for change?
You'll practice using observation forms, questionnaires, and interviews. The training offers practical tools to work as intended while simultaneously tailoring your treatment to the client (treatment integrity), and to account for results within your practice and to referrers.

Masterclass
The masterclasses are accessible, online sessions (two two-hour sessions) that introduce you to the core of EIMT and provide immediate inspiration for your own practice. There are three masterclasses, each with a different theme: EIMT Basics, EIMT In-Depth, and EIMT Assessment.
Masterclasses offer insights into EIMT's working methods and provide opportunities to ask questions and share experiences. They are suitable for music therapists who want to become acquainted with EIMT, as well as for those preparing to participate in a training program or seeking to enrich their practice with new insights and reflection.
